Last Day of the Tiger Year

Last day of the tiger year.  Nice weather.  I took the 985 bus to my parents' place for the new year's eve dinner. 

985 runs a good route.  It takes you from pudong to the southwest heart of puxi very quickly via nanpu bridge.  The bus runs in big 2 circles before actually getting onto the bridge. On a nice day like today, you enjoy a spectacular view of the river and highrises at lujiazui in 360 degrees. The bus always runs fast in circle, you almost feel like in a roller coaster.  
Oh 985 plus nice weather.  That reminds how I went to the hospital to see my grandma in the fall until there was no grandma for me to see anymore.  Just got home, mom showed me a letter my grandma wrote to her student in 2003.   Her student, now around 70, sent us a new year card and enclosed the letter.  He said it was probably better we keep it.  Reading it made me cry...How nice it is to have her handwriting!  (Maybe I should type it up later) 

Last day of the year of Tiger, is it necessary to have a self review?
Work-wise, I said change was good.  So it was good... I liked the time I spent in HK.  And I liked the time I spent in Philly toward the year end. 

The new places I have visited include new orleans and enshi in hubei province.  Totally different. I got reasonably drunk at both places.  Both are nice.

Again, I found that sometimes I chose to ignore my intuition and common sense.  This happened too many times and lasted too long. This is sad.  Anyway good that I have moved on and hope i will be smarter.    

So I suppose I'm ready for Year of Rabbit? Oh do I have a choice anyway?!
